House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi is the latest party official to encourage Democratic candidates to skip September's Democratic convention in Charlotte.
Pelosi made the comments in an interview with Politico.
“I’m not encouraging anyone to go to the convention, having nothing to do with anything except I think they should stay home, campaign in their districts, use their financial and political resources to help them win their election,” Pelosi told Politico.
Last month U.S. Rep. Steve Israel, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said he would advise any candidate to stay home.
The convention, which starts Sept. 4, is the latest in memory. Republicans convene a week earlier. Not long ago, conventions typically took place in mid-July. Jim Morrill

Basically what she is saying is what most of us have know about Democrats for years..."if you have to pretend you are someone you are not and pretend to believe things you do not to get elected that is perfectly all right."
To the left it is all about the ends justifying the means. Talk like a conservative. Say conservative things. Stay away from the real leaders of the party...the radical leftists. Tricking the voters in defense of the "cause" is justified.
Nancy's a lot of things but stupid isn't one of them. She knows Obama is an albatross around any candidates neck who's in a tight race.
Word to your Mother. I know right?
1:22 - You are giving Pelosi too much credit. Anyone who is responsible for passing legislation that says out loud, "We need to pass this bill so we can find out what's in it" might fit the definition of stupid.
